Removal

hot-water-collector_edited.jpg

Before the removal process begins, your solar hot water system is visually inspected for any damaged panels/collectors/tubes, heat exchangers, tanks, valves, controls, manifolds, fluid lines, mounting hardware, and/or racking.

The system is tested for pressure and voltage for system efficiency. These readings are documented to ensure proper heat transfer after reinstallion.

Once the inspection process is complete, the system is shut down and de-pressurized. This involves draining the system of heat transfer fluid from panels/collectors, plumbing and heat exchanger. For evacuated tube systems, the system is depressurized and tubes, manifolds, lines and fluid are removed.

Removal Process

1: Disconnect & remove panels

2: Remove mounting hardware

3: Carefully remove panels

4: Store or transport panels

Once the panels, mounting hardware and racking are safely on the ground, we store them in a safe and dry place on site or transport them to a new location, depending on your project requirements.
